7. i am from Azerbaijan. Our teacher told us to hear this film. Thank you very much. It helped me to learn the text "a christmas carol"

I have a story in mind based on quest for camelot and Christmas carol and it goes like this Alice lost her belief in christmas and her stepfather sir Lionel who's dead because he was killed by Ruber told her that she'll be visited by three ghosts. For the ghosts i used Lady Juliana as the ghost of Christmas Past,Garett as the ghost of christmas present and her real father King Arthur as the ghost of christmas Future.

24. Thank you, Retropower for uploading this, I appreciate it as a fan of all the versions. However, if anyone is thinking of watching this, my opinion is that this is the WORST of all the film versions and most goes against Dicken's story. In Dickens story, Marley is Scrooge's friend, and comes back from the dead to help change him. In this version, Marley takes great delight in scrooge ending up in Hell! Also Scrooge reveals himself to Cratchitt, giving him the Turrkey, which ruins the Boxing day 'twist' in the Original. Ignore this film and seek out the Alaistair Sim version or the Patrick Stewart version…….both 'equal first' versions for acting and keeping to the storyline

25. Xmas is a PAGAN festival and there is NO warrant in Scripture for it. Poor Scrooge was bullied into submission.
